This afternoon we rowed my favorite boat, Widori, on Lake Superior. It has been a strange summer weather wise--so this day stands out for the quality of the air, water and sky. I love the feel of rowing. The pull of the arms, the movement through the water. I also love the feeling of floating. I am away when I am on a boat on water. I am not attached to land...I just am.
